It looks too much off :S Sorry but what I would recommend is blurring out the clouds with the smudge tool or liquify and going with the long exposure effect (maybe B&W too

) by removing all the detail from the water. That way the picture would look more matched

i finally got around to fixing this picture. all i did was darken the highlights, and fixed some little stuff on the rocks on the bottom and on the mountains. but that's all i really felt like changing

this wasn't really meant to be one of my "better" pieces. and i don't have the psd file here anyway :/

Well it's a lot better, that's for sure! I still feel it's a bit weird and unnatural as I always look forward to waterscape shots for the nice reflections on lakes. You should consider all your pics as your best! Once you become a renowned photographer, they should not find "average" devs in your gallery
