possibly salt if on the beach, just strikes me as being caused by some process affected by some diluted mineral in water over a length of time. could be way off the mark though.

so have you decided if you like the photo yet? don't let my comment sway your decision. ;)

I would probably like it more without the hazy streak, or possibly if it wasn't so contrast-y. otherwise love the texture on this one. ;D

hmmmm... idk just my personal preferences I guess, that is an interesting rock though. is that line natural, maybe calcium build up from sitting in water for some time?

yeah :aww: found it on the beach like that. don't know if it's calcium build up :confused: it was quite a different material compared to the surrounding rock. i find a lot of rocks on the beach made of the same material as the streak... it's kinda sparkly... reminds me of granite for some reason :shrug:
