Incomplete Conjoining

This picture is really, really interesting. Although it is only made of wood and you see, that it forms part of a tree, imagination doesn't stop thinking what it could be.

The minimalistic view on the wood, makes it look somehow abstract. Structures are pointed out clearly, contrasts underline the black/white processing. Well done!
Technically - I think - it is solid work.

What do I see?
That is a difficult question. If you look at the picture without any association, you see: wood.
If you let your fantasy think anything what it wants, the first thing that came to my mind was: two kissing people.
I do not know, why I thought that, but you transmitted this scene in such a subtile way, that imagination is able to identify these two parts of a tree as the faces of two kissing people.

I like, when somehow abstract art causes that the mind thinks about lots of things.
